VIAGRAŽ
ViagraŽ is FDA approved for the treatment of erectile dysfunction and not premature ejaculation. It's use for premature ejaculation constitutes a legal but off-label use of this medication.
For some men, particularly young men, ViagraŽ is sometimes able to help them get an erection that will not go away after a man ejaculates. The man can then continue on with intercourse after he ejaculates and will likely have a second ejaculation before he loses his erection.
In this fashion the duration of a man's sexual intercourse can often be increased.
* This is usually not effective in men older than 25-30 years old.
ViagraŽ is a safe medication, but has some side effects. The common side effects of ViagraŽ include facial flushing, headache, nausea, visual changes, hearing changes, amnesia and rarely cardiac abnormalities such as arrhythmias.
ViagraŽ should not be used by a man for premature ejaculation if they are taking nitrates or certain blood pressure medications.
* While we
will certainly try to help all of our patients, as with
any medical treatment, there is no guarantee of specific results, as
results can and usually do vary from patient to patient. All numbers and time frames mentioned are approximate and may vary from patient to patient.
