PENILE CONSTRICTION RINGS

Penile constriction rings are just what they sound like.  They are either adjustable bands made from tubing or are rubber rings of various sizes.  The goal of using a constriction ring on its own without also using a penis pump or vacuum constriction device is to assist in maintaining an erection that a man can get on his own.

Some men can achieve a good solid erection but for various reasons cannot maintain the erection.  Other men can achieve an erection, but ejaculate so quickly that they quickly lose the erection.  * The constriction ring can be used for these men to assist in maintaining the erection for up to 30 minutes.

The ring cannot be left on for more than 30 minutes at a time.  Otherwise stagnant and poorly oxygenated blood is trapped in the penis.  This could cause damage to the penile tissues and erectile dysfunction and scar tissue of the penis.

*  While we will certainly try to help all of our patients, as with any medical treatment, there is no guarantee of specific results, as results can and usually do vary from patient to patient.
All numbers and time frames mentioned are approximate and may vary from patient to patient.
